OUR STRATEGY

ÆGIS’s business strategy is to commercialize its novel styrene-copolymer (hydrogel) technology for worldwide medical device and pharmaceutical applications where enhanced biocompatibility and/or controlled release capabilities are a pre-requisite.

ÆGIS efforts will be focused initially on the development of products for the wound dressing market with the intent of: (1) providing more effective patient treatments, (2) improving the cost-effectiveness of treatment, (3) reducing healing times, and (4) minimizing the need for alternative interventions.

Our longer term product development vision includes providing a unique range of products in the drug delivery market; and more specifically the OBGYN and mucosal delivery market space where our technology provides advantage over existing and accepted treatments.

This strategy allows managed care providers, third party payers, and hospitals to significantly reduce their costs for the care of certain wounds providing new levels of quality patent care as well as show-casing the value proposition of using ÆGIS products.
